The HUXLEY® Multiplayer Game Experience enables Citizens of FURY-7 to compete with and against each other in 3 stunning playable Wasteland environments brought to life in Unreal Engine 5. Commander Ben Mauro applied years of experience working on world-renowned gaming franchises Halo and Call of Duty to his own creative vision, building a vertical slice that firmly demonstrates what a future AAA HUXLEY® game might look like. Mauro enlisted the help of revered gaming studio Big Medium Small to build the experience.
The HUXLEY® Multiplayer Game Experience was built in collaboration with Big Medium Small, led by Jama Jurabaev. Jurabaev, the creative force behind the Mandalorian and Ready Player One, is pushed the limits of Unreal Engine 5 to bring HUXLEY® to life in a playable space.
Vertical Slice
Purpose and Vision
– The goal of the Vertical Slice multiplayer gaming experience is to showcase an interactive example of how a HUXLEY® video game created using Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) would look and feel, in a similar strategy to how the cinematic trailer showcases a vision for what a big screen adaptation of the HUXLEY® story would be like.
– The creation of the assets associated with the Vertical Slice also lays a foundation for creative exploration. For example, a character model or set created in UE5 can be adapted for use in virtual production. Additionally, the Vertical Slice serves as an enriching experience for HUXLEY® community members and an exciting incentive for newcomers to discover the IP and the many adventures that can be found throughout the Wastelands of FURY-7.
